Before you start
Make sure your company profile is complete — logo, description, and location. Candidates see this on every application page, and it helps your role stand out on the public Jobs board.
Decide on the essentials first: job title, employment type, location/remote policy, salary range (optional), and the 3–5 must-have skills you'll screen for.
Create the role
- Open Dashboard → Jobs → New job.
- Fill in the title, department, location, and employment type.
- Paste or write your job description. You can also click ‘Generate with AI’ to draft one from your bullet points.
- Add screening questions — short answers, multiple choice, or yes/no.
- Set a closing date so the job auto-closes when it's no longer accepting applications.
Publish and share
Once published, HR Paddy generates a unique apply link such as www.hrpaddy.com/apply/your-job-id. Share it on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, your careers page, or anywhere candidates already are — no account required for them to apply.
Closed jobs remain readable on the public Jobs page, but the application form is disabled so candidates can still see what the role was about.
Common pitfalls
- Listing 15+ ‘required’ skills — keep must-haves tight so AI scoring is meaningful.
- Skipping screening questions — they're the single biggest signal for ranking.
- Forgetting to set a deadline — Free plan jobs auto-close at 20 applicants if no date is set.
